One of Canada’s most high profile competitions has named Vigilant Global as one of the country’s top 100 SMEs for 2016. This is third year in succession that Vigilant has received this prestigious award, which is a reflection of the company’s commitment to providing a positive working environment for employees, and giving back to the communities in which it works, amongst other criteria.
Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers is an editorial competition run by Mediacorp, in partnership with national newspaper The Globe & Mail. The competition ranks employers on multiple factors, including health, financial and family benefits, work and social atmosphere, community involvement and training.
It began as a programme to formally recognise small and medium-sized employers in 2014 for their significant contributions to Canada’s economy; according to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, small and medium employers like Vigilant Global account for more than 75% of all jobs created.
"At Vigilant Global, we are honoured to again be named as a top Canadian employer,” said Arvind Ramanathan, co-founder and managing director of Vigilant Global. “This recognition is as much about our amazing employees as it is about our benefits, perks and commitment to the community. We share this award with the entire team, who have grown to be more like family over the years.”
Before being named to the Top 100 SME list, Vigilant was also recognized by Mediacorp as a Top 20 Montreal Employer.Read Latest Updates
